ALG's Fast Response to Market Changes
Most in the real estate industry will agree that the “market has definitely changed” and we acknowledge that there are great opportunities for both buyers and sellers.  This change requires that real estate professionals modify the way a property is marketed. As we analyze the various techniques for marketing our client’s properties for sale we believe that:
  • A well defined and concise property information brochure/flyer/packet/document needs to be compiled and be in a format that can be easily emailed.  Large surveys, drawings, environmental reports, etc. can be forwarded upon request.
  • A “For Sale” sign should be placed in a highly visible area.  We typically place a 4ft. x 4ft. two sided sign with a rider disclosing contact and property information.
  • Distributing market information to in-house client base should be done in various ways through direct personal contact, email distribution, website RSS feeds to those who subscribe, Atlanta Commercial Board email blast, advertising in Multiple Listing services and on the ALG website.
  • Exposure on professional and social networking sites are rapidly growing. This is an excellent means by which to drive traffic to websites showcasing our clients’ properties for sale. “The average networking circle is approximately 150 friends”, as quoted by Max Pigman, Vice President for Realtor.com.  This method of communication targeting a broad mass of personal and professional contacts is a way to reach out at an exponential pace.
  • Please visit us on LinkedIn.com and join our ALG group for updates and on YouTube.com (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt2XQIr-amM) (or simply put in Atlanta Land Group to view video presentation).
  • Referrals…Referrals…and more Referrals!
The number one item that was searched for on the internet in regards to real estate was “has the market stabilized?”* Nearly 75% of home buyers use the internet as a tool in searching for a home.  Both residential and commercial properties benefit from displaying their properties on-line.  A recent survey by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) found that 60% of realtors have websites. The on-line presence of real estate activity is growing at warp speed and we here at ALG are on board “To Infinity and Beyond”**
